remember Hazel this way than more recent pictures.
Life is never too kind when illness takes over your life. Hey I've gone mad and now I'm coming out the other side, more positive, and hopeful that things are getting better and soon will be perfect and back on track.
No longer having not to make dust etc I can get on with all the jobs that were shelved, Three new Sanicompact toilets installed and ensuites as well as seperate toilet are getting the completely tiled look, black and white minimalist and a little japanese influence, but remember we are not all perfect, besides I like them and that is important for me.
going to keep this short for now as I still need to keep things moving
Keith
Your Hazel has the looks of a fun loving lady, thanks for sharing for that is a photo to treasure.
ReplyDeleteLovely photo, Keith. That is just the right way to remember her. If you see my blog post before last, you will see photos of a dear friend as I like to remember him too. I'm glad to hear things are moving apace with Irma. When are you planning your move south?
ReplyDeleteAs soon as I have completed a good refit, I can make dust and paint fumes, it is amazing the things I was stopped doing, but now Hey the world is my oyster, I can even use spray deoderant, Phew. I need to bring Irma up to the TRIWV regs as she is 100 years old this year and 24 mtrs long, I need to install a water tight door to the Foscle bulkhead and I hope to seal the engineroom with all the fire proof systems. It makes things very hard and expensive but I am looking at April/May 2012 latest. Being the deliveryskipper and if the weather is just right then I'm gone. Not too sure if I can go slow enough, probably have to tow an anchor behind so as not to exceed the 3 knot max. Irma runs at 5 knotts on tickover and I do not want to change the propellor yet again. I need to cure all the rust spots and get some serious paint on, she is looking a bit sad lately. I have just read that we are going to have a long hot summer so outside painting will be a welcome change from all the internal work. Both cabins ensuits are being tiled, a little japaneese, black and white. still it will be easy to keep clean. Time to get on with some more work

How are you doing, Keith? Are you on your way to being ready for the off?
